How to Join
We are always happy to welcome new members. It is a friendly club with an informal atmosphere. We have players covering a wide range of abilities and on club sessions (Mondays and Thursdays evenings and Saturday afternoon) members turn up at the courts to play friendly games with whoever is there. We also field teams in competitions against other clubs and hold several club events during the course of the year, details of which are in the calendar. There is a strong juniors section in the club and coaching is available at both senior and junior levels.
There are various categories of membership. These, together with associated subscription rates, are detailed on the fees page.
We play on the courts situated at the junction of Quadrant and East Road, by the putting green to the east of the town. If you are interested in finding out more, or possibly joining, you could come to the courts on one of the club sessions (Monday and Thurday, from 6:30pm and Saturday, 2-4pm), when a committee member should be on hand, who would be happy to answer any questions. Alternatively, come to the "Fun Open Day"; visitors are welcome and it may be a good opportunity get more information. Also, you could contact us by email.
