Welcome to the North Berwick Tennis Club website
The old (blaes) courts and the new (polymeric) courts
North Berwick Tennis Club was founded in 1920 and currently has about 315 members, of whom about 165 are in the juniors section.
We hope that this site will be useful to members, by providing club information on matters such as club events and the composition of the committee.

Club Nights
Evening club nights have started again for the summer. See weekly events for details.
Floodlight Tokens
Floodlight tokens are available from committee members at a cost of £4.00 for an hour’s play. Please remember to remove used tokens after play and ensure the door is properly shut to prevent rain damage to the electrics.
Ball Machine
The ball machine can be booked by any club member by calling the secretary, Mandy Devine. A £2.00 fee applies.
Court Etiquette
- Wear appropriate sports footwear on the courts. Members should wear this year’s shoe tag (orange)
- Avoid crossing an occupied court while the ball is in play
- Keyholders please check that remaining players have a key to lock up when leaving the courts
- If people are queuing to play, then please stop at the end of your current set or within half an hour and allow them to play
- Guests should pay at the hut when it's open, or to a committee member
outside hut hours.
Rates are £2.00 per hour for adults; £1.00 per hour for juniors / concessions
